My Story
At times, we all need someone to come alongside us, especially when life feels overwhelming or when we’re searching for a new perspective. I’ve been walking with people on their journey toward wholeness for over 30 years, helping them navigate some of life’s most difficult and transformative seasons.
A defining turning point in my own life came through a rock climbing accident that changed everything. In an instant, the trajectory of my life shifted. What followed was a long process of recovery, reflection, and ultimately, transformation. That experience didn’t just shape my story; it deepened my empathy, sharpened my perspective, and strengthened my commitment to helping others navigate unexpected life changes, loss, and new beginnings.
I bring a unique perspective to my work as both a Licensed Professional Counselor and an ordained minister. My strength lies in helping people understand where they are in their journey and guiding them as they discover their preferred future. Every journey needs a map, and through both my training and lived experience, I help people find the direction and tools they need to move forward.
I am trained in a variety of couples counseling modalities and have extensive experience as a crisis counselor, grief counselor, and trauma interventionist. I also have a heart for supporting clergy, particularly those experiencing burnout or navigating seasons of crisis. I’ve been married to my wife for 25 years, and together we’ve raised four adult children, endured seasons of loss and change, and kept God as our compass for truth.
These experiences, both professional and personal, allow me to meet people with depth, compassion, and a steady presence, no matter how complex or challenging their journey may be.
